Reports to: Branch Manager - La Grange, Texas
Job Objective:
Your primary responsibility is to identify, locate and collect basic information on used
construction equipment and cranes available for sale within a given area, in which you shall
have specific territorial rights. You will also collect information that could lead to the
sale of used construction equipment or cranes to companies within your area. In addition,
you may be asked to go to equipment locations to verify condition, take pictures or other
requests made by Rhino Machinery. If a request is made by Rhino Machinery, you will receive
an email with the address and an estimate of mileage. Rhino Machinery will pay a flat daily
rate and reimburse mileage on travel that is requested by Rhino Machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the buying/selling of used construction equipment within all industries associated with heavy equipment in a specified area.
- Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above.
- Complete understanding of market, auction, and retail pricing of heavy equipment.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale or buy resulting in the taking of market share from other competitors.
- Buys/Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
- Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
- Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentation of equipment to identified prospects.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of Microsoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.

Job Specifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales
- Prior experience in construction industry is a plus.
- Bachelor degree preferred but not required.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Willingness to travel and/or relocate.
